We've got some practical tips for you so you can fully focus on what's happening on the track.

You really don't need to worry about going without food and drink during the race weekend. Almost every grandstand has a food zone with refreshments. In Spanish, of course. So you're sure to enjoy your meal, even if it's just local street food specialities. It's worse if you want a beer during the race. You won't get any at the Circuit de Barcelona, only non-alcoholic beer is allowed and you can't even bring alcoholic drinks into the venue.

Before you head to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need on your phone, as are Tickets, maps and information about your favourite riders. Especially on Sundays, there is a risk that the mobile network at the Circuit de Barcelona will be overloaded and you won't be able to recharge your mobile data.

Remember that you may not be able to reach your friends. If you want to meet someone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. Just like in the old days before mobile phones.

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal grandstands, make sure you wear earplugs if you are closer to the track. If you are travelling with children, don't leave them without headphones.

There's nothing unpleasant about summer in Spain. As far as rain is concerned. On the contrary, just remember that it can get quite hot and that only some of the stands are covered. If you're going to the open-air stands, bring an umbrella, and if not, don't forget a hat or cap. And, of course, drink plenty!
